ANKENY CENTENNIAL FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE LINE AND TIGHT END CAMPS 3RD-7TH GRADES

Ankeny Centennial High School Football Staff will be offering a camp to focus on the player’s stance/footwork/movement and basic understanding of run/pass blocking principles. TE’s will also focus on various on/off the ball blocking/pass release techniques. Football cleats, personal water bottle and shorts/t-shirt are recommended.

This summer camp is open to any athletes entering 8th-12th grade that attends Northview or Ankeny Centennial. The camp will consist of direct instruction to both Wide Receivers and Quarterbacks by members of the offensive staff. Key points of focus will be on fundamentals and developing a competitive edge. Ankeny Centennial High School Football Staff will be offering summer football camps for boys entering 2nd-4th grade this fall. The camps will include conditioning and working on football skills and fundamentals. Participants are asked to wear proper football clothing (t-shirt, shorts, and football shoes). They will receive a Jaguar football t-shirt.

JAGUAR 7 ON 7 SKILLS CAMP

The Jaguar football staff would like to invite you to our Annual 7 on 7 Skills Camp. The camp is set up to ensure each attendee will get individual and small group instruction from Centennial football staff and current/former players. The emphasis will be on teaching the key skills and techniques that will assist in improving each athlete’s performance both offensively and defensively.

The Camp is open to Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, Defensive Backs, Linebackers.

All campers will receive a camp t-shirt. Football cleats, personal water bottle and shorts/t-shirt are recommended.

Position Specific Instruction:

Quarterbacks – focus will be on footwork, throwing mechanics, and reading a defense
WR, RB, TE – focus will be on route running, releases, and catching fundamentals
DB & LB – focus will be on man and zone coverage concepts as well as proper footwork

KICKING-PUNTING-SNAPPING CAMP

The Ankeny Centennial Kicking, Punting, and Long Snapping Camp is designed to provide young athletes with a strong foundation in football essentials. Open to all skill levels, the camp focuses on the basics and fundamentals through drills and exercises that enhance technique, consistency, and accuracy. Experienced coaches guide participants in developing proper stance, footwork, and body mechanics while also emphasizing mental preparation, game situational awareness, and physical conditioning. This holistic approach ensures participants gain confidence, resilience, and a deeper understanding of the game, equipping them with the tools needed to excel in pressure situations. Please wear athletic attire, including but not limited to soccer style cleats. If athlete possesses kicking tee, holder, or football they may use those during camp – it is highly recommended athletes distinctly mark their property so it can be found at the conclusion of each day.
